The Wanderer (criminal)

Terje Larsen (a.k.a. "The Wanderer" (ノルウェー語:Vandreren)) (born 22 August 1958) is a Norwegian convicted serial burglar. Convicted of 664 burglaries, but suspected of carrying out several thousands, he has been described as a legend in Norwegian criminal history. Since the beginning of the 1980s, Larsen wandered throughout the country, burglarizing hundreds of cabins and lodge, often spending several nights in the process, all the while avoiding law-enforcement. Arousing both sympathy and violent indignation, he has been named one of Norway's most notorious criminals.
==Early life==
Terje Larsen was born on 22 August 1958, in a pikey family in Sandviken, a neighborhood in Bergen and has four siblings. Old acquaintances describes the family as being very interested in recreational activities, spending a lot of time outdoors. The children learned early to survive in the mountains. They could hunt, fish, make "anything with their hands." And they learned to hike and trek through the forests.
I addition to outdoor activities, Terje he had a great passion for Football, once expecting to become a professional footballer. He played as a winger on IL Sandviken, and took football "dead seriously" and had, according to old friends, "incredible qualities" and a "crazy step". But he would always have the ball and do everything yourself. He trained alone a lot, learned at a young age about and balance, relaxation and diet. The ideas came from his idol, football star Johan Cruyff. After school, he went to Copenhagen, han joined the Danish club Fremad Amager, but soon dropped out, and started living on the streets.〔
